UPDATE FOR FALL 2023 SEASON:
We look forward to continuing PYF’s rich tradition of developing the qualities of discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical well-being on the football field.
1st & 2nd graders will participate in an intramural style flag season. Target start date for the first day of flag practice will be Tuesday, September 12th. Practices will be every Tuesday and Thursday 6:00-7:15pm at the Glover Complex (usually on Ritchie Bell Field) and will end in late October or early November.
3rd/4th & 5th/6th graders will participate in the Westchester Youth Football League and compete against teams from towns in the Westchester area. Target start date for the first day of tackle practice will be Monday, August 21st, 2023. Practices will initially be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for the first 2 weeks to get players acclimated and fulfill the minimum practice requirements by the league before the first regular season game. Following that, practices will be every Tuesday and Thursday 7:00-8:30pm on the practice turfed field at the Glover Complex for the regular season. The season typically ends in early November but is dependent on the WYFL schedule which may include playoffs.
